Onboard computer for electric scooter
Stříteský, Vladimír ; Burian, František (referee) ; Kříž, Vlastimil (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is clarify construction of onboard computer for electric scooter. There is description of components, from which the electric scooter is built. Within this thesis a computer simulation of accelerating scooter is created. Based on the simulation three possible ways of controlling the electric drive were proposed. Then thesis describe parts from witch control system is composed. Onboard computer and support circuits are described in more detail and explained their functions. Description of the created software is in the final part.
Construction of On-board Computer for Motorcycle
Rulc, Martin ; Široký, Daniel (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This work deal with system design and implement of Trip computer for motorcycle serving as information element of speed and fuel consumption motorcycle. The general aim is design of device with graphic display that shall represent measured values of speed motorcycle, rpm of motor, onboard voltage, charging current, motor temperature and ambient temperature. All measuring data will be saving on memory card. For easily tracking in system menu will be used touch panel on graphic display.
Extending mobile platform Car4 with onboard computer and sensors: Kinect and Hokuyo scanner
Najman, Jan ; Krejsa, Jiří (referee) ; Vejlupek, Josef (advisor)
This thesis partly builds on the project of remote controlled vehicle Car4, which was part of several bachelor and master theses in mechatronic laboratory FME BUT. The aim of this work is the development of anti-collision system for experimental vehicle Car4 using two different types of sensors - Xtion motion sensor and Hokuyo laser scanner. The work also includes testing the properties of both sensors and design of onboard PC for processing data from sensors.
Racing Motorcycle On-Board Computer
Dokulil, Marek ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Crha, Adam (advisor)
The bachelor work is divided into three main sections. The first section deals with the description of the onboard computers available on the market that can be used on a racing motorcycle. The second part of this work focuses on the possibility of scanning speed engines, primarily gasoline, where the principles are described. In the third part there is described the design of the onboard computer and its construction. After reading the third part, the reader should be able to construct his/her own onboard computer according to that design.
Onboard computer for status and functional parameters evaluation of internal-combustion engine
Jaroš, David ; Legát, Pavel (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and realization of the onboard computer for evaluating functional parameters and status of the gas engine. Designed solution is consisted of two main parts. The first part is measuring unit whose obtains actual information on engine especially consumption of fuel, rotate per minutes and temperature of engine head. The second part of the solution is formed by pocket computer with appropriate software. The application for the pocket computer processes data from the measuring unit and from GPS receiver, which is integrated in pocket computer. Wireless bluetooth technology is used for data transfer between measuring unit and pocket computer. The application in pocket computer displays and records each of obtained and computed data.
Board computer with GPS module for motorbike
Kaláb, Lukáš ; Vyskočil, Pavel (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and subsequent construction of a board computer for a motorbike, using a GPS module. Vehicle speed, distance travelled and the motor's rotations (RPM) are among the basic elements that are measured and shown. Furthermore, the mechanism allows one to measure and show the average consumption, the temperature of the surrounding environment as well as the motor's temperature, battery voltage, current time, and, with the help of the GPS module, the current GPS location of the vehicle, including altitude. The vehicle's entire journey can be saved to the memory card for further processing in a PC.
Car board computer
Jelínek, Lubomír ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is about design car board computer for car. It summarizes basic knowledge about engine control unit, car board computer and other car computers. It informs with diagnostic protocol OBD and his use for reading data from engine control unit. It describes specific solution modular car board computer. In conclusion there are designed procedures to enhance car board computer.
Universal Onboard Automotive Computer
Novohradský, Petr ; Crha, Adam (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
This work includes the complete design of a prototype embedded system for displaying information from a vehicle. ELM327 chip is described and its basic use. Work also describes the development of the diagnostic socket for  vehicles in European countries. Also contains a complete description of developing schematic, printed circuit board and firmware implementation. The thesis describes the use of realtime operating system in embedded system.
On-board Computer Unit with Testing for Cars
Špatenka, Jan ; Navrátil,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Dušek, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of on-board computer unit with testing for cars. The first part focuses on circuit design concepts. Measurement data acquisition module uses standard OBD2. The module is designed based on the measuring circuit STN1110. Measuring module equipped with USB and JTAG communicates with the nearby devices. The control module is equipped with ARM microcontroller. The second part deals with the implementation of software for the microcontroller and the PC application. Finally, test results of the on-board computer implemented are presented.
Board computer for car
Lutera, Ondřej ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of car computer with multi-user mode and data recording. The measurement is performed by using a direct connection to the sensors and fuel injector of engine. The measured signals are processed and evaluated by Atmel Atmega128A microcontroller. Measured and recorded data are displayed on the graphical LCD.
